Unleavened (Galatians 5:9) – Leaven is used predominantly as a metaphor for sin, corruption, and the rapid spread of wickedness and iniquity. As Christians, we are charged, commanded, and challenged to live a clean and unspotted life free from sin. But if we sin, we have an advocate with the Father and all we have to do is repent and confess our sin. As we continually examine ourselves and seek to please the Lord through our thoughts, words, and deeds, we can live an unleavened life.
